Greetings Everyone!  We are the Brock's, KD9RUE - Gordon & KD9RUD - Ellen.   We are new Hams and both received our Technicians and General tickets in Feb. and March of this year.

We are located in Wanamaker IN (SE Corner of Marion County) and have lived here 34 years. We raised 4 boys.  We have been members of Indian Creek Christian Church those 34 years.

We love fishing together and traveling every chance we get.  The Ham hobby is just another addition to the things that we like to do together.   Of course I do most of the talking and Ellen is always listening (so watch what you say).

In this new Hobby, we are VERY passionate about helping new Hams over all the hurdles we have faced and continue to experience as New Hams.  When we learn something, we always want to share it so others won't have to stumble around in the dark like we have done.  It has been great to have found the W9WIN repeater system along with some experienced Hams who have this same passion.   The great bunch of Elmers, The Welcome Net and this new Web site is a step in the right direction for us all.   So New Hams Unite! With the help of our Elmer Friends we will enjoy this hobby together.
